Kira is graduating from preschool on June 9, 2010 

from Las Families Preschool. 

 We are so proud of her and the great sucess she has had by going to preschool. 

 Kira will be starting Kindergarten in July or August at Palm Avenue Elementry school.

3 Pane windows

Today we received our 3 pane windows to be installed in our home.  We are so excited to have new windows that will be so much better for our home.   I can't wait to see my electricty bill go down and to see how much better my house will look.

Just thought I would do a little updating.

I am really sorry but I did not realize that I had not looked at my blog for almost a year.  I have decided that Facebook really is not my thing and that I wish I could find someone to do some serious scrapbooking with.  I have Alyssa's baby book to do and would really like to get it done before she turns three.  I also been trying to find ways to make better use of my time.  I sure hope that I can keep up on my blog and keep everyone informed of what our family is doing.

Today is Kira's 5th Birthday!!

Kira turned five today and was so excited to spend a hot date with her dad at Knott's Berry Farm. After leaving Knott's Kira went and had dinner with her Grandma Gibson and Dad. For Kira's birthday she got Jump start cd-rom, new pj's, three new wii games, walkie-talkies, and a new Disney costum to play with.  Our first born is growing up so fast.  We love you Kira.

Kira got to share her birthday at Las Families with all her preschool friends.  Kira picked out her favorite sugar cookies to share with all her friends after they had eaten a healthy snack.  Kira loved being called the birthday girl for the day.

in our home for months but would not try to walk on her own.

Well she finally got comfortable enough to get up and walk on her own.

I think Alyssa couldn't get enough of her either.



For months Kira talked about how she would like to go to Disneyland for her birthday. She would tell me that she would like to go to Disneyland with her Aunt Elaine and that I would stay home with Alyssa. Sometimes I wonder who is the boss. Well Kira's wish came true. The week of Kira's birthday was the week Aunt Elaine had spring break. Her husband Clint surprised her by buying an airline ticket to California. So on Kira's birthday we took her to the Disneyland Resort. Kira's favorite ride is Buzz Lightyear. Kira sure had a great day with her family and sure
enjoyed seeing and taking pictures with different characters.

Kira had a great 4th birthday with her aunt and uncle. We sang happy birthday to her and she got to blow out all her candles. Great job Kira.

Joining Facebook!!

I feel like I have neglected my blog for a while.
Facebook has been my new thing. It is so
fun to see who has joined and all the fun things
you can do to your profile.

I really need to get back to taking pictures so I
have good memories for my children.

Kira asked me if there was mail for her.
I handed Kira the JoAnn's ad to look at.

When she was all done with it she brought it back to me
and she said, "Mommy this is awsome." I started
to laugh because Kira has been saying some of the
funniest things lately. Kira and I were reading books
before she went to bed and Alyssa wanted our book so
I asked Kira to get Alyssa her own book. Kira put a book
infront of Alyssa and said, "Enjoy."

Happy New Year!!

We finally got our belated christmas
present together. Our playset didn't
make it to our home before Christmas
so we are enjoying it in 2009.

Nate, my dad, and my brother Kevin

had so much fun putting our playset

together for New Years Day. It took

them from 8 am to about 3pm. The

girls love it. Thank you Grandma

and Grandpa Gibson for the

Christmas money.

night we spent with Grandma and Grandpa

We sure enjoyed watching Kira and Alyssa
open their presents from Uncle Kevin and

open her christmas gift which was an outfit.

Alyssa got a little people farm and loved it.
Daddy sure did a good job being Santa this year.

We had a good Christmas and we hope
that 2009 will be another great year for us.
We sure enjoyed the newsletters and cards that
we got from friends and family.

Each year Santa and his reindeer's, policemen,

fireman, a snowman, and a Fire dog drive

through San Bernardino neighborhoods to wish

the boys and girls a Merry Christmas.

Alyssa's birthday present!!

Alyssa push the buttons and to see her
get excited to watch the Farmer say.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Beck for the

money you gave to Alyssa for her birthday.

She really is enjoying her new toys.

They are always so kind and thoughtful.

Nate had to fly to Arkansas on a business trip the

day of Alyssa's birthday so he was not home to

celebrate with our family.

Kira's First Hair Cut!!

Kira got her first hair cut today!!
Her Grandma Gibson cut her hair.

Kira was sure a brave girl when her grandma

asked her to keep her head still.

She looks so grown up now.

Disneyland with Friends!!

Kira, Alyssa and I got to go to Disneyland for the day.

Our good friends from Utah came down for
Thanksgiving and went to Disneyland with us. We sure had a blast.



Kira really enjoyed being at Disneyland with
everything decorated for the Christmas holidays.
(I don't have a picture of Alyssa because she was
asleep in the stroller.)




If you haven't been to Disneyland the last two
years you haven't seen the Castle decorated
for the Christmas Holiday. It has icicle lights
all over it and is covered in snow. This picture
is not the best because is sure is really neat
to see it in person.




Kira's favorite character is Buzlightyear.
We stopped to watch the Christmas parade.

Alyssa say Cheese!!

Alyssa has learned to pull herself up on furniture and so I was trying to take pictures of her but she decided to lay on the floor. When I would take a picture of her the orange light would come on from the camera and she would squint her eyes shut and smile. Alyssa is now 11 months old.
